You will arrive at your destination by approximately 11:45 a.m. and have plenty of time to place your first bet, get a drink (well stocked bar - cash/credit cards accepted), and fill your first plate of delicious entrees. After 4 1/2 hours of eating, drinking and placing your bets the bus will come around to start loading at 4:00 p.m. with departure at 4:15 p.m.
Experience the thrill of live horse racing at Tampa Bay Downs. This all-inclusive day trip includes round-trip transportation and full-day access to the track for an exciting outing with family, friends and neighbors. You will have reserved seating on the 3rd floor of the climate controlled Clubhouse (a newly renovated space featuring a panoramic view of the track) and a Chef-inspired Buffet, which includes salads, delicious sides, carved meats, and specially prepared desserts by a 5 star Pastry Chef.
This package not only includes the Clubhouse Admission and buffet but also a Daily Racing Program, a cash bar available for alcohol purchases, and a person to assist you in placing your bets (or you can use the machine that is also located in this Clubhouse). The buffet is open for your pleasure from Noon to 2:30 p.m. You are invited to go back to the buffet as many times as you like within that time frame.
You will meet your luxury motorcoach at the Home Depot located at 7368 Powell Rd. Wildwood, Florida. The motorcoach will depart at 9:45 a.m., and depart the race track at 5:15 p.m. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes prior to departures.
Home Depot is a perfect pick-up and drop-off spot with plenty of safe and secure parking. All we ask is that you park in the area furthest from the store, where you will easily see the motorcoach waiting for your arrival. This location is convenient to all the Village Squares and surrounding communities. It is only 5 miles from Lake Sumter Landing, less than 2 miles from Brownwood Paddock Square, 3 miles from Sawgrass Grove, and within 11 miles of Spanish Springs Square and Eastport Town Center by car.
